Calm the tension

What dry needling is at MYOLAB

Dry needling places thin monofilament needles into trigger points and tight bands of muscle to ease pain, release tension, and restore movement.

It is not acupuncture, and it is not based on energy meridians. It is a hands-on technique grounded in anatomy and how muscles actually move. What makes our approach different is that it is built into your care, not bolted on. Both our chiropractor, Dr. Anthony Petrucci, DC, and our physical therapist, Dr. Lucas Hiller, PT, DPT, are trained in dry needling.

That means it can be paired with an adjustment, a rehab session, or recovery work depending on what your body needs that day. People come to us for help with overuse injuries, lingering muscle tightness, tendinopathy, and faster recovery between training blocks.

What to expect

Targeted, then integrated

A session starts with a quick check of how you move and where you feel restricted. We rarely use needling on its own, because it works best alongside the rest of your plan.

Precise placementWe place a few fine needles into the target muscles after checking how you move.
A quick releaseMost people feel a brief twitch or dull ache, then a noticeable sense of looseness.
Sterile and single-useWe keep it sterile, single-use, and precise, and talk you through every step.
Paired with hands-on careIt works best alongside manual therapy, adjustments, soft-tissue work, and rehab.
A full hour, one-on-oneNo rushing and no handing you off, with time to treat the cause, not just the spot.
Cash-pay, HSA/FSA eligibleSessions are cash-pay and qualify for pre-tax HSA and FSA dollars.
Ready when you are
